Now that we have the WVU game behind us and that the team has learned some things and what they need to work on the Ohio game should give them a more realistic chance to win. Definitely need to avoid foul trouble and I look for Eackles and Wright to have breakout games after struggling Fri night.

Glad there's not a huge turnaround between games as I'm excited to watch the guys again, and hopefully in a more even match. I watched Ohio play on Saturday and even though they are rather young, they are very strong. They let Delaware hang around with them early but exploded for the rout in the second half. As always, here is my game preview for those interested: grizzliesgameplan.blogspot.com/2010/11/game-preview-oakland-at-ohio.htmlPlease note the game will be streaming for free through the Bobcats' website: client.stretchinternet.com/client/ohio.portal#The stream is VERY good, or at least it was on Saturday. The cameras are fairly close to the court and the stream never buffered for me once. The only knock was it didn't have the current time but it did have the score so all should be well.

Great job with the preview once again, B&G. My only complaint: take down the Oakland vs. WVU banner at the top.
My guess is that we take the Bobcats in a fairly close game, 76-70.

I'm a little worried about Cooper; I think he may be able to tear up our guards and put up 20-25. To counter that, I think Benson may put up the same numbers. If he does, we may see a very, very, close game.
I love these matchups against decent mid-majors! Nobody wants to lose these games and they always seem to go down the wire

This should be a good game. The biggest factor will be how our guards hold up. Obviously we have the edge down low, but with as bad as our backcourt was last game I am understandably skeptical as to how we can handle a guy like Cooper.
This should be a great game and I am even more excited because this game will have a reliable feed. I watched the Delaware game and agree with blackandgold about the quality and placement of cameras.

I think it will be interesting to see how the team responds after losing in Morgantown. This is a good test for us since Ohio is a top mid major. They are in the top 15 of the Mid Major Poll and they are predicted to win their conference, as we are. Interesting to see the minutes Bader will get, and how he plays after a great game against WVU.

Hey guys!
First, I should explain the OU in my name is for OHIO University (I saw someone on twitter dub tonight's game OU squared, which I liked). Really looking forward to it after Saturday's Delaware game. We came out and struggled a bit in the first half, but really came out of the locker room with some fire.
I registered to let you know about the video stream, but I see you guys are already on top of that, so I'll just say I expect this to be a hard-won game, whichever way it falls. Anybody able make the trip down to Athens for the game?
Also wanted to mention, if any of you read Kyle Whelliston's website (www.midmajority.com), he'll be in the house tonight.
Good luck to you guys the rest of the season!

Thanks for posting, anorris. I like the OU squared idea. For that reason alone, I think this should develop into a lasting regional rivalry game (much better than any Bobcat vs Grizzly imagery I can think of).
Here's to a hard-fought, injury free game tonight. May the best OU win.

I agree, I really like this game and think it was a good bit of scheduling given where both programs are. Do any of you know if we are returning the game at your place next season?

I haven't heard anything about a return game inside the O'rena for next year, but Kampe did say our non-conference schedule would be primarily home games next year. I don't know if we can imply or assume one of them being Ohio, but I would think it might be. I'm sure all of us on this forum would like to see a high quality mid major play in the O'rena!
