Now that we have had a few days to but the Tuesday night disaster in the rear view we have a winnable game to get this team back on track. Southern U isn't very good so just by matchups alone the guys should win this comfortably but if they quickly revert to playing "stupid" basketball like they did at WSU they will make things much harder than it needs to be.

Oakland needs to take care of this game like they have in the past against the SEMO States and Tennessee Techs of the world, except Southern is even worse than those schools. No DI wins, including a loss to an NAIA school and a 2-point win over another NAIA. Anything less than a 15-point win is a disappointment in my mind. Here is a game preview: grizzliesgameplan.blogspot.com/2010/11/game-preview-oakland-vs-southern.htmlAnd also this game and Saturday's are available to stream here: www.ibnsports.com/cic.aspxIt costs $4.95 but that gets you access to both Friday and Saturday games.

Very excited to see the Grizzlies back in action. I am looking for this to be a game where we can build a sizable lead early and give a few of our starters some rest. Having to play our starters all game could hurt our chances in our game tomorrow, which is less than 24 hours apart from this games tipoff.

For anyone on the fence of paying the 4.95 to watch through IBNsports.com, here is a screencap of the quality from the AP/Ch. So. game, attached. Definitely the worst quality of any webstream so far, but they do have a guy doing play-by-play (not sure if he is with one of the teams or not, so could be this guy for Oakland), and it has only buffered or slowed down once in about 10 minutes of watching so far. good game all around from the sound of it... I listened to it on the radio. Everyone seemed really aggressive and that should play well into tomorrow's game

105-53 Final. Good win which was just what the guys needed to get that nasty game Tues night out of their system. Good to see that everyone got involved and that the starters got a little rest to get ready for Austin Peay tomorrow.

I guess we knew Southern was bad, but wow.... Tough to find too much to complain about today, but here's an attempt: what's up with Ilija getting 5 fouls in 20 minutes?!

I attempted to watch the first half with that crappy stream but it played for maybe 4 minutes total. Hoping for a better session for tomorrow's game. But yeah, I just got saw that final score and thought it was a typo or something. Absolutely dismantled that team. WILL HUDSON! If he has games like that in Summit League play, wow!
Also Ledrick is turning into the biggest black hole possible on offense.
