Here is what we have so far using a combination of what Coach Kampe has said himself, what Paul Kampe has reported, and other sources such as potts316's nice find of the other teams in the Maui on the Mainland. Assuming the MSU game happens, that leaves roughly 3 "unknown" games that Coach Kampe hasn't said in an interview or through Twitter. I have to imagine Rochester College will be on of the games and maybe one other home game. Good games coming to the O'rena that we know right now. Some MAC, Missouri Valley, and our new league mates in the Horizon. But all that pales to seeing three blue bloods on a non-conference schedule. UNC, UCLA, and Indiana -- wow! That's a lot of history and of course epic opportunities for these players.

those will definitely be tough teams to play against but it will be great exposure for OU and all players involved... I can't wait for this season now lol

So we cut our travel drastically by joining the Horizon and then cash in on those frequent flyer miles for these crazy OOC away games?! Funny thing is, when you look at Gonzaga and then a potential Carolina game a few days later, we may end up racking more miles this year that last. Crazy

The amount they make on the ooc games especially if they're part of the Maui tournament will more than make up for their travel expenses and still give them money to fly even to some of the horizon games I would think.

Wow! You guys are gonna be making out like bandits this season. I agree with oudrummer, the amount of money that will be made will outweigh the expenditures.

I always feel a bit differently while the team is in the midst of some grueling stretch where it goes 1-5 or something like that, but I still like this scheduling philosophy for many reasons, but mostly because it at least gives the hope that an at-large bid could be had in the event they go out and win a couple of these games. Kampe at least gives them a chance to do that, and that creates another level of excitement. Just think of all the really good mid-major teams over the years that everyone talks about as such a sad case that they went 15-3 in their conference or something and then lose in a conference semi finals or final and don't have a shot of getting in the tournament. I love that with Oakland every year, if there happens to be one of those years when Kampe has one of those teams, at least they'd be on the bubble or in the discussion of an at-large with a schedule and a couple of good wins (or "good" losses).

On paper it sounds good, but when you're losing @ IU by 20+, @ UNC by 20, Gonzaga by 15, & whomever else by double digits, it doesn't add up. Good thing about being in HL we won't need to do this as much. I'm in favor of more MVC, MWC, A10 type of games, and no more than 3 BCS games a year. When we had Kito, Will & all those guys, we could compete better in those types of games. I don't know if we are able to do so now.

Didn't we have Pitt by 18 with 8 mins to go last year. Didn't we have a shot to take the lead at West Virgina with 20 seconds left last year. That was the worst Oakland team in 6 years and we still could have easily won 2 bcs games. These games bring TV and pup and Money and better recruits.

true, but we lost both games. Those are 2 isolated instances against a bad WVU team, and we just blew it at Pitt. But we got beat handily by Tenn, MSU, Bama, etc.

The Michigan State game was 4 points with less then 4 minutes to go. They finished on a 15-2 run. Wouldn't call that handily. Remember our great teams lost big to many BCS schools.
