Clark was very, very shaky early in the game. He was about to clear the ball from his box and got it stolen in the first few minutes to setup an easy goal. He also gave up another goal in the first 10 minutes putting them down 0-2 early.
He had a good second half, making a few good saves but also getting very very lucky with several balls beating him but not beating the goal post.
Overall he had a pretty lousy game and the team couldn't shake the 0-2 hole and lost 2-1. I wouldn't say it was his fault entirely, his forwards didn't generate many scoring chances.
Glad to see OU exposure but I wish we could have said we had a championship alumnus.

I felt really bad for him with that first goal. The second goal was essentially due to a terrible call where the ball was clearly out of bounds so half the team stopped playing. Great lesson never to stop until the whistle blows.

Thanks for the insight Pioneer. Admittedly I don't know too much about soccer, however, I have been loosely following MLS and I was happily surprised to see how packed the stadium was for this championship game. It was completely sold out with a lot of people in the standing room area as well and the crowd was loud and into the game.
If the MLS continues its rise in popularity in the US this could be really good for the Grizzlies because we have had some really good soccer teams lately and have a shot at getting more players in the pros, thus increasing our exposure.

I had people over to watch the game, and that was the most uncomfortable first minute imaginable. Steve still had a great year, and he's just hitting his prime.
