Wayne State beats Mercy 79-77 for the second season in a row. Could be another LONG season for the Titans.

The Titans are definitely improving. I mean, that's four whole points closer than they got last year.

I'm kinda stunned. I thought Mercy would be better this year. They probably still will be. But man did they look bad and losing to Wayne two years in a row?! That's a fireable offense.

Was at the game last night with a coworker who is an alum. Don't see any huge improvement from last season. Jackson Jr is quick and has some good moves to the basket. McFolley is their main three point guy for sure. Hogan needs to improve. He should have dominated Wayne State's smaller lineup but failed to do so. And Coach Alexander just seems too goofy and acts like too much of a cheerleader for me to take seriously. I understand it's an exhibition but geez, more coaching and less rah rah go team.

What was the attendance for them last night?

Box score mentioned 3089. Looked like more than that in person. Wayne State brought a lot of fans and several students. They made their presence known towards the end of the game.

I would love to start scheduling them.

It does provide a laughable, if not head scratching, moment, but let's not forget this same thing happened last year and Detroit still took the wind out of our sails at the O'rena later that season.

For argument sake, you prefer Kampe dropping F bombs all the time and pulling out his hair?
