Dikembe Dixon announced on social media last evening that Sunday will be his last home game at UIC because he has decided to "take my talent else where."
Can't say I can ever recall a player making such an announcement before the season is over. But to his credit, maybe he wanted to have a nice send-off in his last home game, if he is going pro or elsewhere.
Could be a distraction for a UIC team that rounded into form this year. UIC has a good and deep sophomore class, which takes a hit with Dixon leaving.

How odd....
Just when UIC was starting to become a not dumpster fire....

I hope this is his way of saying he's declaring for the draft and not a transfer pre-announcement. The former is a bit of a nice goodbye to his fans, the latter is just a douche move.

Is he even good enough to get drafted?

No he isn’t. Has had an average year at best coming off injury.
Hope he just needs the paycheck and is headed to Europe.
