Nets add overseas vets to player development staff (Bader is included)
—Travis Bader, an Oakland University product, also played his last game this March for Palencia in Spain. He previously played in France, Lithuania, Italy, and Greece, He also had G League stints with the Austin Spurs and Rio Grande Valley Vipers. He played summer league ball for the Spurs, Warriors and Thunder as well. Bader, known as “Darth Bader,” broke J.J. Redick’s NCAA Division 1 record for 3-pointers in 2014, finishing with 504. The record stood for five years. He’s a native of Okemos, Michigan.
