Howdy -
I know, it's been a long time since I have chimed in.
I have been watching the potential transfers very closely to see who becomes available, and who I think we should make a run at.
Joey Brunk - Butler 6'11'' - 240 lbs - has 2 years of eligibility and is a grad transfer! Former 4* prospect that didnt get much PT at Butler - lord knows we could use a guy like this. If he is chasing playing time, OU would be a great fit for him. He is an Indianapolis kid, he will be a problem for us if he ends up at IUPUI
Innocent Nwoko - Central Michigan - 6'11'' - would have to sit a year but would have a year to get stronger and 2 years of eligibility left, and he is local.
Kentrevious Jones - 6'11'' 285lbs - Oklahoma State - Was dismissed from OSU squad and has 3 years of eligibility left. Would have to sit out next year. Not sure what he did to get dismissed - but we all know Kampe is great with second chance kids.
Just wanted to throw a few names out there to get things started - as you can see, I am looking for big men - what say you guys!?

i have no names to add but you're on the same page as me. would love to see a big man addition via transfer -- preferably with immediate eligibility as i think that is one major piece next year's team will be missing. kampe once described will hudson's rebounding as a dog who goes running for the door when the doorbell rings even though it's not for him. that's what next year's team needs.

Looks like Brunk is already receiving interest from Indiana and Ole Miss. If true, Oakland can't compete

Looks like Brunk is already receiving interest from Indiana and Ole Miss. If true, Oakland can't compete Yeah, he's from a suburb of Indianapolis. He's Indiana's to lose. We can usually only compete with the big boys if the kid is from SE Michigan and neither U or M nor State want him. As for Kentrevious Jones, as much as I like his name, our history with players who have been dismissed from Oklahoma State (remember Stevie?) really gives me pause there.

Ugh, don't even want to hear the name Stevie Clark.

I thought the same (in regards to the Stevie Clark statement)! As for Brunk - depends how much the kid wants to play - If he comes to OU, you can bet he gets 25-30 minutes a game next year...and Probably 35-40 minutes a game his senior year. We'll see - I know its a LONGSHOT!

Daniel Oladapo is a JUCO player that visited Oakland, two weekends ago. Oakland offered him, per Twitter. He just recently received interest from Wisconsin. He is 6'7" and plays like a guard, but could guard 1-4. He would be a 3 year eligible player and could play immediately. He went to Chipola College in Florida. He averaged 14.5 pts and 8 rebounds a game.

Came across this article about Eric Williams Jr., former New Haven basketball star who has decided to transfer from Duquesne. Started regularly as a freshman and sophomore averaging 14.1 points and 8.2 rebounds as a 6’6” guard. Might be a target for Kampe, but looks to be garnering a lot of interest from strong Power 5 programs. Could give the recruiting pitch on how local players have returned home to play at OU and have had tremendous success (i.e. Martez Walker and Sherron Dorsey-Walker). www.google.com/amp/s/amp.detroitnews.com/amp/3403223002
