Really did not expect to see OU carrying the load of the Horizon League on it's shoulders seeing that everyone else has been stinking up the joint. Hopefully the other league members can get some wins because there won't be many more opportunities seeing that league schedules are expanding and non-league portions of the schedule are shrinking. This year is so upside down that I'm about to say something crazy: I really don't blame Mercy for looking terrible so far this year. I know, I know... but they've played a rough schedule so far. Wyoming, Toledo, Mississippi State, and Louisville. There are multiple years in recent memory where we would go 0-4 against that lineup as well. I think any of us who have followed the program for more than a couple years can very much respect being the victim of ambitious scheduling. The rest of the schools in the bottom half of the conference have no excuse for their 0-or-1-win records. Goddamn them all for making me feel a modicum of respect for the Titans.

Exactly Bird, I was looking at WSU, Cleveland, and Milwaukee's way for the horrid start. They were the teams that were supposed to make this league better. The records they have right now are what many (including some in GrizzNation) thought the Grizz were going to have.

Canisius 62 Northern Kentucky 75Marques Warwick finally broke out and had himself a game. Last years freshman of the year had not had a great start to the season. The starting line up for this game also matched what I thought would be their key line up (I didn’t know about the freshman Vinson, who has been really solid), but Coach Horn had had Bryson Langdon coming off the bench and not plying the big role he did last year. He finally starts and plays big minutes and everything clicks, including Adrian Nelson having a monster night on the boards, which hadn’t happened as much this year as last year. Not sure what was going on, but a strong NKU is good for the league.
