It is what it is. Home game on Tuesday and a chance to get back on track vs a bad team. I hope Kampe does the smart thing and rests some guys on Saturday, my worry (other than how they’ve looked) is playing 3 games in 6 days.

I think as Neal would say the horses are in the barn for this season we are not good on defense anymore offense has looked bad dont see any way this team turns things around maybe next year but seems like thats a broken record the last decade of Oakland basketball

However, this is the horizon league, weird stuff happens. Today we just got flat out destroyed but pretty much every other game despite all our problems were winnable. There isn’t a team we face who I am going to think oh we can’t beat them so we will just have to see how it plays out.

PFW played a tremendous game today…I want to give them credit. Flat out better. Bobby Planutis was like Duncan Robinson…and if I was an NBA team, I would be looking at this kid as a potential development type guy. He is all of 6’8” and has a sweet stroke.
Our men played their hearts out. They were flying all over the court on D - and I believe that they are just exerting more energy than the other team, and breaking down faster.
Where do we go from here? Top 4 out of reach. I don’t believe we drop lower than 7, so we get a home game. Majority of our starters are banged up and hurt. I know the CSU game has big championship implications - but is it worth it to grind our starters for 35-40 minutes again? I don’t think it is. Let’s get a little more healthy for the tourney and make a run

PFW shot the ball exceptionally well. That is who they are, with great execution but being spanked at home is just not ok. Why do we stick with this zone when our Horizon teams are picking it apart game after game? Not having a healthy Trey also hurt us a lot. I was happy to see the bench play more, unfortunately, the game was already decided.

Great atmosphere last night. The only thing that was missing was the home team. Regardless of who deserves the blame, it was just sad. We started off well, but our shooting and defending could not keep up with a team that recently joined the HL. Despite often frenetic efforts, everybody looked defeated. While this kind of snowball effect happens all the time, it should be not occurring with an experienced coach and his staff. Not after being in first place. As this team limps towards the HL tournament, the question becomes how does this team get off the mat and try different strategies. The current approaches have collapsed.

My only hope is we're somehow just a month off schedule. Nearly every year, this team collapses in January only to come back and win in February. Our collapse is a month late, maybe our rebirth will be too and we come back with a great March? One can only hope.

Obviously this slide sucks... bad.
I'm actually most worried about what it will do to the team for next year. I honestly don't think we will have any regression when Cain leaves IF the currently top 5 players stay.
