A certain loss on deck tonight, the only question is how bad. What I'm looking for: a closer game than Boise, Buru and Mukeba continue to show promising interior presence on the offensive side of the ball, either Woodrich or Christie with a good night from 3 and a more comfortable looking DQ.

NOT having a SLOW start would be a big help as well.

How about make some shots have something that looks like offense would like to see that

So far so good staying in this one finally making some shots let's see what the second half brings

I could see the rough outline of a good basketball team in that half. They gave up a few tough offensive rebounds and too many unforced turnovers, but there was a lot of reason for hope otherwise. And that was with basically no outside shooting and DQ having little scoring impact.
Dunks by Buru and Mukeba were ferocious.

Scanning the memory bank if I’ve ever seen an Oakland big man get a steal, beat everyone down the court, and do a one handed transition slam dunk….

Way too many turnovers for my liking. Liking the effort and physical play by the Grizz in this game. Jayden has not been afraid to take it into the paint.

That game felt a little like the Lions-Texans game, but without the fairytale ending. Offense was fairly anemic and turnover prone, but the defense kept them in it for a chance toward the last bit of the game.
Very happy overall. Can’t wait to see this team keep growing.

Undeniably a step in the right direction however plentiful remains to clean-up. Hope Woodrich is okay.
