Neither Holifield nor Kangu is a surprise. Of the players we actually played this year, Kevin is the one I expected to not be here next year. He'd be out of eligibility if this wasn't a freebie year anyway, and I can't blame him for wanting to see if he can pick up a bigger role elsewhere for his final year.
Holifield may just be the first of a few of our deep bench players to jump ship. When you barely play seven players regularly, the players you won't play are gonna get antsy.
Still hoping our starters + Zion all stick around.

I wish Peyton all the best and hope he lands somewhere that will be a good fit for him. I'm assuming D2. The timing of his transfer is kind of late, but as a walk-on, I'm sure he knew his chances of playing were slim, especially given the strong backcourt that we have.
