When is the official schedule for the men's team going to be announced? In other words how much longer do I have to wait in anticipation?

Usually not until mid to late August as it has been the past couple of years.

Wisconsin released their non-conference schedule and they host Oakland on Wednesday, November 18. I would think it is a lock that the Big Ten Network would televise that game.
Also, if the speculation is true that Oakland is playing at both Kansas and at Memphis, I think those two games would end up being part of the new Hall of Fame Classic exempt event. Oakland would get two more games from this event against other mid-majors, one at home and one on the road. Details are scarce on this event so far as the only other mid-major I know of so far that is involved is East Tennessee State.

I was looking at U of D's schedule for this year and unfortunately we aren't on it (or should i say fortunately for them we aren't on it) and they are playing Michigan in Ann Arbor. Figures Michigan might not play us this year but gives U of D hopes.

www.kuathletics.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/080109aaa.html"....KU’s next three games in the Basketball Hall of Fame Showcase will be in Allen Fieldhouse against Central Arkansas on Nov. 19, Oakland on Nov. 25 and Tennessee Tech on Nov. 27. All three of those contests start at 7 p.m. and will air on Jayhawk TV and ESPN Full Court. " ------------------ So the game at Kansas is confirmed for Wednesday November 25. The six mid-majors participating in this event are expected to be the three listed above (OU, C. Ark., Tenn. Tech) plus East Tennessee State, Morgan State, and Appalachian State, so Oakland would get one of those mid-majors at home and one on the road, plus the games at Kansas and at Memphis all as part of this multi-team exempt event.

Thanks for the info Potts. It will be great to see us get a chance to add another home game against another team by playing in this tourney. As far as UofD goes I could care less if we are on their schedule or not. They don't need us and we don't need them. Hopefully we should see the schedule come out within the next couple of weeks.

Maybe Oakland will win and make us all feel better the next day on Thanksgiving so we don't have to think about the Lions.
