Should someone else get the start / more time for Larry W.? At this point he's hurting us more than anything.

Down 56-42. At least play hard the last 4 minutes.

Look to the bright side, we stopped fouling and started making the free throws. Fouls this half OU-1, WS-7 !!
Come on Grizzlies, we can do this!!!

Kampe doesn't seem to high on Maynard....he hasn't even seen the floor in the 2nd half. I would give Wright one more chance to get his $hit together at home against Rochester before I sit him.

Under the circumstances, good to see freshmen like Eackles and Valentine on the floor. But they look like freshmen.

tmgeneral - You and i could play against Rochester college... lol....I know, but maybe Wright can hit a few three pointers and get his confidence back. He committed another turnover and missed another shot after my last post.

After a shooting night like this, Kampe needs to keep the guys' confidence up. Much of this game is mental.

On Benson's play...
I know he's good, but the Wisconsin fans who wrote the game preview really explains just how good he is. I think one of the biggest reasons teams look at him is his efficiency. Check out the Wisconsin post below. Yeah, I know we saw it earlier. But I think it's important to remember/consider just how efficient he is.
-Wisconsin post- "Keith Benson – Benson was a force on both ends of the court. He was the 14th most efficient scorer in the nation with a rating of 126.3! How he accomplished this amazing feat was shooting a ridiculous 62.2 eFG%, attempting a set of free throws for every 3 shots from the field (68th in nation), and never turning the ball over (27th in the nation). Combine Jason Bohannon’s inability to turn it over, Tim Jarmusz’s shooting percentages, and Tyler Hansbrough’s ability to get to the free throw, and the result is this 6’11” post threat from Oakland. Did I also mention he rebounded defensively as well as Krabbenhoft did and blocked shots more often than Minnesota’s Damien Johnson, Ralph Sampson, or Colton Iverson? Ugh. Keaton, Jon, and Jared have their work cut out for themselves. Luckily, he can get in foul trouble easily, as he averaged 4.6 fouls per 40 minutes, and according to Grizzly fans, he can get pushed around in the post pretty easily. In their first game, he had 15 points, 13 rebounds, and 8 blocks on 5-10 from the field and 5-8 from the line."
Also, in considering Benson's improvements from last year to this year, look at the size of the opposing Center- EMU-Nearly 300 lbs. Looking at Wisconsin's Nankivil (who matched Benson's 9 rebounds), I know he's 3 in shorter than Benson but he's got an additional 20 lbs.

I agree, Maynard needs more minutes. We need to see if he can step up if Wright and/or Cushingberry cant make shots.
Neither can hit 3's and Maynard is a good shooter, Kampe has to let him play a little bit.
I know Wright will get out of his funk, I know its a little mental for him, hopefully after the first 3 goes down against Rochester College he will be back to normal.
