We don't need to set ourselves to the level of them. By posting this, you are basically acting like the fans from U of D. Our forum is not like this at all and should not be like this.

I'm going to take the other side for the time being and say it's not the same as UofD, not to start controversy but just to offer an opposing view. The UofD thing is mid-on-mid stuff...we should be mutually supportive of each program, trying to grow small-time college basketball culture in our area (which of course would best be done through an every-year game). Those guys bash us cause we've been better in our conference the last few years than them and therefore somehow we suck for that. When we come out against a program like Kansas on our forum, I think it's all in fun because we're not hurting them, their constant influx of All-Americans, or their insanely huge fanbase. Plus, a person can dream... As far as they go, their forum posters expecting a 100-60 win is probably not that crazy because they are used to beating mid-majors they've never heard of by exactly those kind of margins on their home court. Yeah it shows they probably haven't done much research to indicate that OU is likely much better than Hofstra (100 - 65) and Central Arkansas (94 - 44), but the average KU fan posting on a massive forum has never heard of us...to them we're just as inferior as NJIT, Centenary, or Longwood. Plus they've had a week to rest and review tape and figure out a game plan against OU. All of that said, a guy can dream: OU 65 KU 63

Just to add to this somewhat pointless thread, looking at page 4 on their site, my personal favorite prediction:
KU - 2,894 Oakland - 31
I'd say there are better odds of OU beating KU then that score happening.
Also I'd like to note that ORU beat Kansas at their place in the 06-07 season when Kansas was number 3. I don't know if that hurts or helps our chances, but I'd be happy to see OU make it a competitive game that can hopefully open up some Kansas fan's eyes a little, regardless of the final score.
OU 99 Kansas 11

Don't get KU and UK twisted there lee . The chickenhawks generally go by KU and Kentucky goes with UK. That being said. OU 77, KU 74 in a barnburner!!

I know.... Mixing up a school's letters is my thing. It's the one thing that is guaranteed to get a reaction from opposing fans. I had KU but editted it later to switch it around. That being said (lol at Curb Your Enthusiasm), I cannot believe the number of people that do not understand/appreciate the tongue-in-cheekness of this thread.

This makes no sense. Almost every forum for every team (both big and small) will include predictions- So there is NO setting "ourselves to the level of them".

OU- 67 KU- 64
OU beat Tennessee Tech. by 21 pts. Memphis beat Tennessee Tech. by 33 pts. Kansas beat Memphis by 2 pts.
Doesn't mean much, but it's at least a little something to help back me up...
