There was some discussion in earlier threads regarding a seven footer at the Homecoming game. His name is Kyle Sikora and he was there on an official visit with his father. He's from South Florida and plays C for Florida Christian School. He was offered at the game and committed to the Grizzlies last night.

By the way, for the mathletes on the board: how many schollies do we have left? For some reason, I thought we used the last one on Ryan Bass. (I don't have time to check now.)

I also thought we were done with scholarships. Either way I am glad that we got another big man on campus. Hopefully can be another Benson, redshirt, work on his skills, and slowly develop into a good Oakland player.

Bader was a walk-on, right? Even so, there don't seem to be enough slots. If Sikora is indeed headed here, it probably means someone (Thames?) is headed somewhere else.

Yes, Bader is/was a walk-on. However since he was a preferred walk-on I thought they would give him a scholarship? Also did Kast ever get a scholarship?
I think your right Germane, I think Thames is heading elsewhere.
