Oakland wins 78-70. Looks like Benson had 22 points and 22 boards (to go with 6 blocks and 7 assists).

The last 4 minutes of the game and the OT were unreal. Benson took over in overtime, had two straight blocks. The stats for this game were real. Benson had his sickest night ever. Will Hudson had 21 and 9.

I had the gamecast going and I couldn't believe those stats I was seeing.... that's great for Kito and the NBA scouts Will finally is showing his true potential and i'm very proud of what he has put together this season so far.... I thought his last game was good, but man he was a beast today lol I'm pissed about the radio feed though... I really wanted to hear that game and then I when I turned on the gamecast I realized it was in the 2nd half already and was a really good game. Stupid GVSU

glad to see that we are back to .500 as well.... now it's time to continue that win streak at home and start conference play off strong

Agreed. Getting back to .500 was important psychologically. Now, if we take care of business against S. Utah and UMKC, we can enter that tough stretch of high majors at 5-3.
But we absolutely can't afford a let down to start the conference season Thursday. We need to make statements against SUU and UMKC.

Will stepping up like this is only going to help Benson, teams won't be able to double-team Benson, if Hudson keeps playing like this, and I believe he will, its only going to make us harder to beat come conference time.

Eager to see the guys in action this week in the Orena.
Like many of the posters on this board, my son and I spend too many November and December nights huddled around a notebook computer, following the Grizzlies on WDFN's stream or the ESPN Game Cast.
But that was fun listening to Neal Ruhle call the OT this afternoon.
Loved Coach Kampe's reaction: He gets a W and some teachable moments. He also indicated Ryan Bass will play an ever greater role on this team as he gets healthy. I've not yet seen Bass play ... looking forward to it Thursday.

Am I the only one who is becoming increasingly disturbed by Hamilton's stupid shot selection at the end of games?
