Good tune-up game against Southern to get ready for da Governor's. Everyone got good minutes (starters didn't need to play many minutes) and there was balanced scoring. Obviously Austin Peay is a much better team so the guys need to keep the intensity going on both ends of the court. No reason to have an inspiring performance one day and then stink it up the next. Get the win and lets finish the grueling season opening roadtrip at .500 and head back home.

it's an aggressive agreement lol
I think today will be a much more interesting game.... it seems the matchups are a lot better for both teams which should test our bigs throughout the whole game. If everyone can ride the momentum from yesterday's crushing of Southern then we should be in good shape. We just have to come out strong and aggressive, but not too much as to get 5 fouls in 20 minutes *cough* Ilija *cough* lol

I guess only time will tell with him, he's too inconsistent in his play to earn that nickname at this time lol |

Bad enough that the Oakland game on 1130AM has to wait until GVSU's football game is over, a 38-6 laugher, but now they're making us sit through a completely meaningless postgame.
Tight game with Oakland up 58-57 and we can't hear it. Weak.

WOW. Overtime. Tied at 66-66. I didn't know it wasn't on radio but I just tuned in to the live stream the last five minutes. Austin Peay came back and had a few big shots down the stretch, and then Oakland was down one with a full shot clock and Reggie took an incredibly ill-advised three-pointer just a few seconds into the team's possession. APSU got the rebound, was fouled, hit both shots, then Oakland came down with 17 seconds left, Larry missed a three, Benson got an offensive board, and REGGIE BANKED IN A THREE-POINTER.
