It's pretty much pick your poison, and I'd rather have teams shoot the 3 instead of getting easy layups. ya, college teams seem to have a better shooting percentage from a foot from the basket than the 3 point line. haha

OU has the chance to make Summit League history on Saturday with a win and I hope they do! GO OU!
After Saturday, we will have played everyone in the Summit League once and that brings us to the point of a possible undefeated league season. ouguy and I have talked about this often and wonder if going undefeated in an auto-bid league is best. We feel that last years whooping by IUPUI was a good thing in the long run for OU. It brought us back to reality and taught us a few things. We feel (I am sure everyone does too) that we would much rather take a loss in league play then take a loss during the most important 3 games of the year in March. Thoughts?
I mean ouguy told me this morning that OU has only trailed for a total of 2:43 in league play so far this year. So, I don't know if this team is that good or what. BUT I fear being over confident heading into the Summit League tournament...
On another note....I have been waiting for the day that our inside game can aid our outside game and our outside game can aid our inside game!!
On my last note....I think nate has a good point about our defense. What happens when OU has a shooting game like we did at Michigan? (It will be hard to come in first in a track meet)

Let's take a look at our defense. In league play we are first in FG defense at 41% and first in rebound margin (just under 10) and first in blocked shots. is there anything else. We are only giving up 69 points a game. That's the best defense we have ever played. Can we lose a game. sure. can itbe because of our d, sure. but we seem to be playing very well on the defensive side of the ball.

Good game last night... I just listened to Kampe's comments after the game and I think you have a great coach, who also happens to have a very good game plan. Good luck the rest of the way, except when you play the Jacks of course.

I agree that Kampe seems to have a lot of respect for the Jacks, and rightfully so. Kampe can especially relate to how tough the transition to D1 has been for Scott Nagy.
