rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/news?slug=teamreports-2011-ncaab-oaa"The Summit League has acquitted itself quite well in non-conference play thus far this season. Heading into the week of Dec. 12, the league’s conference RPI ranked 11th in the nation. Among the other mid-major leagues, only the Missouri Valley (8th) and West Coast (10th) ranked higher." Obviously its early in the season, but good nonetheless.

Always interesting to take a glance at KenPom.com's conference simulations. Here's how the Summit League came out: Projected winner: ORU (51% chance) Oral Roberts 5078 South Dakota St. 3150 North Dakota St. 1321 Oakland 431 IUPUI 11 Western Illinois 8 UMKC 1 Southern Utah 0 He notes that these simulations were run BEFORE last night's outcomes. Can't argue much with Pomeroy's laptop based on what we have seen so far.
