On 97.1 The Ticket yesterday Terry Foster said one of those guys, I don't remember which one, was most likely headed to U of D (ugh)
I've read some fan responses from U of M and they've been calling these players soft, slow, and not very good, but obviously a Wolverine fan would say things like that to a guy on the way out. I just hope if any of them are decent enough to continue playing at a high level that they at least check out OU. We don't want U of D taking all of the in-state tansfers

We don't want U of D taking all of the in-state tansfers Well one thing to keep in mind is that Brundidge is the only player of the three who is from Michigan or even the Midwest. It'd be surprising if either of the other two stayed in the state. Brundidge is the guy who "sources" (sports journalism's favorite buzz word) have indicated could end up at Detroit. If Detroit got Brundidge and Zeigler that'd be some transfers that would generate more buzz for the program. Also Matt Stainbrook, the 300 pound Western Michigan center with the goggles, is transferring and Detroit has a recent history of picking up former Broncos.

I realize OU has been fortunate during its D1 era to land transfers such as Rawle Marshall, Courtney Scott and Reggie Hamilton.
Players want playing time. Loyalties to coaches and schools are secondary. And if one of these ex-Wolverines considers OU, we'll be geeked.
That said, I think most of us prefer to see a perennially powerful OU program built on four-year players such as Dan Champagne, Derek Nelson, JJ Jones, Will Hudson, Kito Benson, and Eric Kangas — guys who buy into Coach Kampe's system and improve every year.
(OK, OK, if Matt Stainbrook and his goggles want to transfer here, I'd welcome him.)

All fans on forums are the first to greet the new players, and they first to say- "he couldn't cut it here" when the player leaves.

Yea I agree totally, I wasn't necessarily saying UM is guilty of this, just saying the departing fans always do this. That's why I'm taking their analysis with a grain of salt
