I don't know anything about Horizon League swimming. But, I don't recall seeing any Horizon league teams listed in the top 20 from last year.
Is there any chance Oakland loses a conference swim meet ever in the Horizon? Oakland's men's 2012 recruiting class was ranked 21st in the nation last year. They were also ranked as high as 20th in the nation last year.

I don't know how the competition for the Horizon goes in regards to swimming but I will certainly say never say never. I know the program has been undefeated in the Summit but it's hard to say how long we would be able to keep that going in another league. I certainly hope we can keep it going.

I actually was reading about this on The horizon league site the other day. On the first and second day OU wiped away at least half a dozen of the league records. What may be the most impressive thing about our swim teams is how international that are. We recruit guys and girls from across the globe, which is really impressive. I was once a good friend of one of our best swimmers who was from Poland, he said OU was known for being one of the best teams, all the way in Poland!
I'd love to see us keep up our dominance and pull off the sweep!

Here's a video with Coach Hovland:
I gotta say I loved being able to watch the championships on the Horizon League Network. We watched a few hours of action tonight in advance of the men's basketball game, and there was some real drama as Oakland and Milwaukee were really close throughout, with several lead changes. Nice to have stronger competition in-conference but also amazing Coach Hovland continues this streak of conference championships.

The swimming and diving team doesn't get enough recognition. They really are amazing! First year in a new conference and they step up and win for both the men's and women's. Let's hope they strategize more next year for that 4 day championship so they win a little bit easier, haha
