Glad to see the OU women get a win over a solid Windsor team in its first exhibition game under new coach Jeff Tungate. The game was pretty tight in the first half, but the Grizzlies performed very well in the second and won it comfortably.
Two non-basketball observations:
1) It looks like OU has some new cameras for its online streaming this year. The picture was more crisp than season's past and they had multiple camera angles (below the baskets). This was nice to see and puts OU's home game productions closer to what you see from other Horizon League schools.
2) Dan Waterstradt provided color commentary next to Neal Ruhl's play-by-play. Dan was on a game or two last season, and I thought he was really good this afternoon. Neal Ruhl said we could look forward to this all season, so I hope that means Dan will be doing home games on the HLN. He had good insights and had some good humor.

The two of them will be doing the radio (1130AM) broadcasts for away games this season from what I've heard so I guess no more Impemba for the first time in a while. Glad to see Tungate get started on the right track with the ladies. I wish him well this season considering the challenge he's going to have with a couple injured players out for the year.

Anyone know if Watterworth will return to the floor at any point this season? She's a game changer.

Mario did confirm on twitter that he will not be on the call this season for OU. Bummer. @mario_impemba: @dudekdrum21 My plate became too full. @nealruhl will take over as lead voice this season. You're in great hands with Neal.
