Another loss tonight against an average CMU opponent. I watched most of the game against MSU earlier this week. I know the new coach has different ideas and tactics which is fine-refreshing actually, but does the talent match? The defense gets exposed playing too high creating fast break opportunities for the opponent. Especially if they have speedy forwards. This may be worth the risk if we score a lot of goals-which isn't happening. Recruit for what you want the system to be in the future. Modify for the skill set of your current players.
Let's hope the men can put together a quality season. Facilities are/will be among the best in the region. No reason not to be back in the top 25 again regularly.

Disastrous start for the soccer teams. I can't remember when both teams struggled so mightily to start the season.

I'm not a fan of criticizing coaches but I'm really starting to wonder if Coach Pogue is the right man for the job.

Watched the last few minutes of the women's game against Detroit.
1. ESPN 3 replay is awesome.
2. Who calls a penalty kick in double OT at a league tournament?
3. Playing college soccer on a turf football field is dumb. Our facilities must be 10 times better than Valpo. Why is that even allowed?
4. Let's hope the new coach has the foundation in place to win from the start next season.
