It took nearly 120 minutes, but the OU men won the tourney opener against Cleveland State tonight, 2-1 in 2OT. They face Wright State in the finals on Saturday.

Championship game is tonight, 6 pm! It may go down as one of the coldest soccer games played at OU but from the comfort of your home you can root on the team on HLTV

I'll be home watching. Cause I hate the cold. But hopefully the OU fans are braver than me and out in force. Love the Meadowbrook Maniacs!

I love being able to watch night games but too bad it wasn't an afternoon start. 33 and sunny is a lot nicer than 30 degrees in the dark.
On another note, in the future I would love to see them light up the grizzly on the new dome for night contests.

Great win. After the homecoming loss vs. Incarnate Word, who would've predicted this?! Time to make a run in the NCAA tourney.

Awesome job by the guy's tonight. As mentioned who would have thought this a month and a half ago? I certainly didn't and made it known that i was wondering if Coach Pogue would be the one who could make this program tops in the HL. He and his staff shut me up this season. Now let's keep it going and pull off a win in the tourney.
P.S. Conrats to the Volleyball team and their first ever league title in the D1 ranks.

Volleyball is another program that's come a VERY long way. They were a joke in the summit not that long ago.

The atmosphere at the soccer game was nice. It wasn't a huge crowd, but those who were there were really into it. A great win, and it was cool to see the fans move down to the ropes in the last few minutes then run on the field after the game. Coach Pogue and his staff sure got things turned around after the Incarnate Word game.
The volleyball team has been great this year. Coach Beam has done an outstanding job, and the ladies have really gelled as a team. They seem to find a way to come back from deficits and win close matches. I hope they get good crowds at the Horizon League tournament this weekend. It's awesome that OU gets to host two league tournaments a week apart.
