Horizon League games as of 11/28/15 Not a great day for the HL going 3-5 in games played. Ball State gets an upset win over Valpo 69-66 (Should cool down the at-large talk from Valpo Nation) ORU (old Summit nemesis) beats Detroit in a high scoring affair 100-95 (and we talk about us not playing defense) Maryland defeats Cleveland St 80-63 George Mason downs Wright State 66-39 (Wright State only scored 10 POINTS in the 1st half ) Drake beats UIC 83-62 Youngstown St. beats Niagara 88-70 Green Bay beats Eastern Illinois 81-72

I noticed that Paris Bass still isnt playing. I figured he would just get a slap on the wrist for what ever he did and be back by now(since it doesnt seem like a legal matter). He is apparently still practicing with the team though.

All rumors point to 7 games for a weed issue. Not too smart from your team leader and someone talked about as an NBA prospect

A great night (for once) in the HL last night with all teams getting victories.
Detroit gets by Toledo 75-72
Valpo knocks off Indiana State 69-63
Big game of the night was Milwaukee coming back from double digits to upset Wisconsin in Madison 68-67. Not the Wisconsin of old but still a great win for the Panthers and the HL.

I watched Milwaukee lose at home yesterday in 2 OT to South Dakota. USD outplayed UWM pretty much the whole game. With leads up to 11ish. There were some questionable calls down the stretch where UWM actually had a basket waived off at the end of regulation which would have given them the game. In the first OT Tiby grabbed a rebound in traffic, fell to the floor and was called for traveling. The replay shows both him and a teammate verbally and physically signaled a timeout before the fall within maybe 3 feet of a ref. It was odd.
USD has improved alot. I think this is probably the best the Summit League has been in quite some years. USD also won at Minnesota, SDSU did the same, WIU won at Wisconsin. No wonder the high league RPI.

Good for the Summit, not good for the Horizon.

Yes, it is good for The Summit. I just wanted to give a little background on our old league brethern & the UWM game a bit. I think some of the new rules will play over better in The Summit with a lot of high scoring run & gun teams.
