Wow. Considering he was penciled in as a starter that is a pretty big blow to Mercy. Interesting to see just how long he's suspended and what the cause was.

Not only a starter but their best player. The UDM board posters seem to think this will be a brief suspension.

Wow. I thought they ran the cleanest program and suspensions and kids messing up was only for the public schools.

If you only knew his story from his high school days. It is baffling how he is even eligible now, given that he didn't go to JUCO for 2 years before being allowed to play.

Not surprised at all. Big blow to them, as some mentioned even possible NBA player down the road. Tough to guard a guy with his athleticism and ability to score from anywhere on the court. Bacari is sending the message early on.

So if we use the Mercy JuCo to D1 transfer formula it would appear that Jones' 5.6 PPG would translate to -.4 ppg in D1.
