The Flyers are currently 8-2 coming off a big win against Cincinnati 82-68. The Grizz have to play much better than they did against MSU and need to play hard and smart the entire 40 minutes. The talent is there to pull off another upset they just can't keep having mental lapses especially at critical moments in the game.

As Dayton is known as a dangerous city let's hope we don't get mugged in this on like Monday night gotta play much better as said this one worries me however doesn't seem like the guys are playing well rn seems like the peak of the season was the win over Xavier and besides the win over eastern the effort has been poor

Maybe it's time to look for the panic button? This team built on defense has been poor defensively the last 5 games or so getting worried this is another promising season going bad

91 points?....really? I don't want to hear anymore from Kampe about how good we are defensively. I really don't know what to make of this team now. I wanted to be interested again for the first time since Jamal Cain was here, but I don't know now.
We have some size. We have a couple of shooters. Our bench is deeper than years past.....yet....no consistency.
It's the same thing year after year after year.....right coach?

In his post game interview he said they shot well but we didn't play bad... It's getting harder to take him seriously does he believe the crap he says sometimes? My prediction for the season we play ok end up 3 or so lose some bad games look good at times then lose to a team the shoots well maybe you Youngstown or Fort Wayne Kampe tells us it was a great season but ended in a disappointment

I was absolutely crucified starting 8+ years ago for saying exactly what general and Gemini said here. Well now it’s 2023 and most of the fan base is completely apathetic based on the lack of engagement on here the last couple seasons. With the portal and NIL out of control, I’m afraid we’ve plateaued as a program and will only regress. Changes at the top should’ve been made years ago, it’s too late now.

I didn't watch the game, but if they shot so well, was there a point where we made adjustments and actually got out of the zone? I understand that Dayton is a good team, especially this year, but we shouldn't lose games by that much. One of the things that I am beginning to appreciate more about the game is seeing the in-game adjustments, and counters by coaches as the game goes on. I hope that was the case here.

Very clear that Dayton has significantly better 3-point shooters than Oakland. It is more clear that opposing coaches know how to attack the zone. While they may not be successful in doing so, they know the recipe. Even the Dayton announcers last night were congratulating their team on getting the ball inside and then kicking out to the wings. What happens when a seasoned coaching staff breaks down the Oakland film? You get instances like MSU, FW and now Dayton.
All will become much clearer in the next few weeks. Holding out hope that counter adjustments can be made by Kampe and the staff. Otherwise, yes, it will be another disappointing season.

It was nice to see Tone Hunter back in the game last night. As is minutes increase the offense should improve substantially. Huner should be ideally at 25+minutes per game.
34 minutes is a lot for Lampman.
With Hunter, Oakland still has a chance to be very competitive in the Horizon.
