Placer Green Bay is much improved this season coming in at 4-1 in the Horizon and on a 4 game win streak. They are getting a lot of contributions from many of their bench players during this run and used several of them as they handled Detroit easily on Thursday night. They will be well rested for Saturday and the Grizz need to match that intensity even after that lengthy foul filled game against Milwaukee. Cannot be losing games at home especially league games.

I like the better offense really shooting better but this 3point defense is really bad if this isn't fixed this team won't win in march

I'm just glad we got the win. Green Bay is a much-improved team too.

They were lucky because they left GB open at the 3pt line a half dozen times in the first half but they couldn't knock them down. Relying on Lampman to go on a heater every game doesn't give me confidence. Gotta get Gohlke going. This team doesn't have an identity...are they a high scoring offense...no....are they good defensively....no. I'm happy for these wins but they seem like fools gold.

I agree 100% we really have 1,3 point shooter Jack has not been good from 3 all year except a few games he must up under 30 for season Blake been shooting well lately that's great but can he keep it up? And there are many teams that can shoot from 3 it was clear green bay had a game plan of attacking from 3 and it kinda worked just could not hit the shoots in the future they may and we have seen fort Wayne Dayton and Cleveland st and even Youngstown stroke from the 3

Not sure I follow the method behind the madness for Oakland’s defense. Tony Paul repeatedly said GB had open looks for 3s in the first half, but failed to make their shots. In the second half, they improved significantly and as expected, the game became quite close. It is almost as if Kampe is willing to leave opposition players open in the belief they can’t make these lower percentage shots over the course of the game. Regardless, Oakland is on a roll and a win against NKU positions themselves quite nicely. I am sure the interruptions of holidays, finals, etc. contributed to some of their recent inconsistent play. Now that they have passed, Oakland looks much better.
Besides winning more games, I am interested to see the school’s approach to get attendance up.

Kampe sorta scoffed at the halftime interview when asked about making defensive adjustments for the 2nd half, saying they didn't need to lol. It's tiring when an opponent's player goes like 5-8 from 3 and then finding out that player is like 28% from the arc on the season. It's just open look after open look.

I think this zone is designed to get teams to actually shoot the 3. Most teams can't consistently make enough 3's over 40 minutes to win the game. Ideal Kampe offensive teams score a bunch of points and outscore the opponents. As long as we run the zone, we will give up many 3's consistently. Occasionally we run into a PFW, or a hot shooting and talented Dayton team. Or teams with large and athletic bigs may throw a lob over the top of it like Oklahoma State a few years back. Those types of teams we may face in out-of-conference sometimes. Overall, quick, precise perimeter ball movement, and finding the seems in the zone can doom the zone. As much as I'm not a fan of it either, it looks like it will be here for a long time.

I understand what you guys are saying and you are probably right kampe probably using the numbers to say this guy we are ok shooting 3s he is at say 25% but this that shoots 35 or more we don't give open looks seems like bad coaching and a bad system 1 guys get hot all the time theses are 1d players 2 if you use this thinking you will not guard jack as his shooting %is 25 which is crazy sense he's a "shooter" either way seems like a fatal flaw that will end the season at some point and maybe will every year
