Hopefully the guys stay focused on what's in front of them and keep going with the one game at a time approach. RMU and WSU will be fighting for positioning in the league standings so expect them to play aggressively. The Grizz have to match them especially playing RMU in their building.

This has turned out to be a fun season, especially after losing that first exhibition game.
I always try to remember, "things are never as bad as they seem and they are never as good as they seem."

I agree just worried they are going to disappoint us as I'm sure everyone expects a trip to the dance if they don't make it this season not as fun .

Not a very good game on offense but great defense brings a easy victory 2 more home games left till the real season starts

Very impressive to win by that margin after shooting poorly like they did. They did a great job on the boards and that helped a ton.

The past month has turned Oakland from a directionless program of the past 5+ years to a sturdy foundation and a bright future. Yes, individual players are contributing at a high level, but most importantly an offensive/defensive identity has been established that is supported by bench depth. They are on the edge of achieving all the goals a skeptical fanbase has hollered about for years. Who would thought this after their exhibition game loss at the beginning?
Contrary to many, I don’t see making the NCAA tournament as the end all and be all this season. While *highly* desired, a first place regular season finish is the target. By doing so, they would stake claim as the best team over the course of the season - especially impressive given this year’s parity. If Oakland can be in the top tier of the HL consistently, NCAA tournament appearances will come.
