Horizon Regular Season AND Tournament Champs!!! Damn, that feels good to say!! Congrats Grizz, your back in the Big Dance!! And beat three 20-win teams to do it. So many thoughts, emotions, feelings, but the overwhelming one is pure elation for this group of players, but particularly the seasoned vets in Trey, Blake, and Chris—the guys who stayed in an era where a lot of guys left. And pure elation for Coach Kampe, who has endured nightmares in this tournament but got to this point with a group of leaders who love Oakland as much as him. What a game, what a season, what a tournament. Oakland is back in the NCAA Tournament.

The highlights of these tournaments is watching the winning team celebrate. We didn't get to see that because ESPN cut right into the next game. Disappointed

I switched to the ESPN+ feed and the two broadcast guys were interviewing Coach. But then they cut the feed right in the middle. Sometimes(/usually?) they will show the celebrations on ESPN+.

Great stuff and would encourage our fans to read this article in particular, where the Oakland Post got reactions from many Oakland figures, including from the President and Athletic Director after the game: oaklandpostonline.com/48876/sports/what-theyre-saying-prominent-oakland-figures-react-to-ncaa-tournament-berth/It has been so great to see the support of the President. There is a great quote in the linked article about the basketball program basically being the front door to the University. To me, it feels like it has been 13 years since we had a President who emphasized that (key words: "feels like" - no disrespect intended to past Presidents, this is just one person's observation). The physical support -- being at games and engaged, interacting with student fans, being at the tournament -- is definitely noticed, but it is not lost on fans that the path to the practice facility being approved for the old Baker campus down University Drive occurred under her leadership in the past few months. These are positive signs and hopefully the campus community will see the impact an NCAA tournament appearance can have on the broader campus community.

Why did Jack point to the Milwaukee bench after his first three? They must have said something as he was shooting or were saying something in pregame. Glad he didn't get a T. You could see the red said something like, "don't do that!".
Just another example of the classless Milwaukee program and fans

And thanks to plaid coat Milwaukee coach for not making adjustments and doubling Trey in the second half. Lol
