Updated scholarship chart to reflect changes dating back to Cushingberry. I left Cushingberry off the list for next year, but there is clearly still a scholarship there if he does come back. If he doesn't, it could just be like this year where they just didn't have a 13th guy who was recruited for a scholarship spot. We've been lean on four-year seniors this year and will be next year, but then again we couldn't ask for a better four-year senior to lead the way on his lonesome next year in Drew Valentine. But I must say it is nice to see down the road that there could be some strong senior classes. This also looks like an off-season where we won't see anyone transfer for the first time in a while. Of course it could always happen but it seems like we won't be on track to lose a guy like Ledrick this offseason.

Id love to see our roster play out the way you have it right now. We haven't had enough 4 year guys as of late and I'd love to get back to that. 4 year players with tons of team chemistry and tons of heart are make makes me love the mid major schools

Throwing up an updated scholarship chart reflecting Sikora transferring and news today that Michael Lewis did not qualify academically. Also, according to Paul Kampe's Tweets, he said Oakland will help Lewis find a prep school or junior college, but then also had another Tweet that said, "Kampe says @ougrizzlies still have a chance at a couple transfers but preparing for next season with just 10 scholarship players. Not concerned for next season, but understands importance of the next recruiting class. Four schollys open for that class." If there are four scholarships open, that suggests that Lewis' is not guaranteed (nor does Lewis have to honor his commitment to Oakland after a year of prep school or juco play).

Per @scoopips: Clarkston (MI.) and REACH Legends' 6'1 combo Mitch Baenziger '12 is headed to Oakland U next year as a preferred walk on per Mitch. twitter.com/#!/scoopIPS/status/204684063196446720

Updated scholarship chart to reflect Ralph Hill's announcement that he will transfer to Oakland: Looking at the chart, the sophomore class of 2012-13 has a real big chance this year to make a mark and be key cogs a bit sooner than most would expect. Oakland's near-term future is counting on Petros, Poches, and Williams. Still plenty of room for the staff to make a splash with 2-3 quality Class of 2013 kids.

In the Coach's Corner from yesterday Coach said "...with Ralph we have 10 scholarship players now, that and couple kids not making it academically that we thought in the recruiting process would..."
We know Mike Lewis was one, but in the scholarship chart above it looked like 11 scholarship players, and him saying a "couple kids" is worrisome. Perhaps Viktoras didn't make it, or maybe Korab is not on scholarship?

Lloyd Neely is listed on ougrizzlies on the roster for next year, but Viktoras is not, along with Lewis (who we already knew wouldn't be joining the team). Hopefully, if Lewis gets his academics in order, he can join the team next year. Who knows was is going on with Viktoras. We are looking like we are getting pretty long out there.

I'm going forward under the assumption that Viktoras is a non-qualifier based on Nate's reasoning. So with that subtraction and the addition of McCune, the team is back to 11 scholarship players this year, but just 9 who can dress. Korab and Neely should get some quality playing time.
