How should the shot not have counted? 0.9 seconds is a lot longer than people think. Round it up then it's about 1 second which is plenty of time to take a ball and chuck it up. Even if it was a travel; it was a very slight one. With such a clutch desperation shot on the line, do you really think the refs would be that tick-tacky to call a travel? Also, could you imagine the uproar that would erupt from the fans? I don't think the refs would make it out of their alive if a travel was called.

Naismith - how the hell do you just "get over it" a few minutes after a miracle/nightmare shot that shouldn't have counted?? None of us want to be bad sports, but that was a CHEAP way to end the game. Tell us to "get over it" a little later. I totally agree, how do you tell Kangas, Dan, and Ricky to "get over it". If we had more games to the season we would be over it. But to end your season on that note, unbelievable.

Sooooo even though there was a travel and we should just round up to 1 second?

Bravesbeatoakland: My advice is to take your ill-gotten win and be happy with it. If you try to argue that a shot like that (after a 3-step travel like that) was possible with 0.9 seconds, you're just going to reinforce the fact that your team got a cheap win as a gift from the officials. Enjoy the "miracle."
Having said that, I do hope Bradley wins the tourney. They are a good team, whether or not they deserved the win tonight.

No, I said he got the shot off, but even if did slightly travel that no ref would call that, especially these refs with all the calls that should of but never happened. As for the 1 second comment, I suggest you learn to read. I said that 0.9 seconds is a lot of time, and that rounded up it is basically 1 second. 0.9-1 second is plenty of time to do what Chris Roberts did, and that shot was good and should have counted. I know it sucks, but you should just accept the fact that you lost by a legit desperation shot.

Most Bradley fans agree that he traveled. So that means he took 2-3 steps THEN shot the ball in .9 seconds. Not possible. Plain and simple. OU got screwed over.

I can just tell that all across Oakland, people are hanging their heads in disbelief at the fact that their season ended with a heart-breaking desperation shot. The shot was a miracle, yes, but 0.9 seconds is enough time to do what Chris Roberts did. It wasn't a cheap win; it was a miracle shot that ended Oakland's season and helped us advance. Lucky? Yes. Cheap and shouldn't have counted? No. Get the hell over the fact that you lost. It's the god damn CIT for Christ's sake.

WOW you are certainly smoking something if you think it is possible to take three steps and shoot a ball in .9 seconds that isn't a lot of time and that isn't 1 second. Then you say the fans would have gone crazy and the refs wouldnt have been able to get out of the arena. You guys didn't even deserve to win the game don't try to argue it just take your miracle shot and get off the forum if your going to try to justify that shot.
