hile Oakland's men's basketball schedule has not been officially released, the Golden Grizzlies will be playing in the Hall of Fame Showcase Tournament, playing at Tennessee Tech on Nov. 23, at Kansas on Nov. 25 (7 p.m., Jayhawk Television Network), hosting Central Arkansas on Nov. 28, and then playing at Memphis on Nov. 30. The full schedule will be announced at a later date.

I know Green Bay is another and they look to be pretty solid again this season.

UCA is a cool addition, but the key word here is "holiday weekend" opponent, or yet another weekend where OU students are not around. So we finally get a fall semester home game but once again it's when no one is around. I hate to sound like an ungrateful fan right now, but it just strikes me as a major bummer. Overall, though, I'm stoked this tournament gives us the chance to play some big time schools/RPI boosters as well as out-of-the-midwest mid-majors.

Yeah, I agree with what you're saying but better it to be Thanksgiving break than end of the semester (late dec) like last season even though we had a decent turnout with the UofM and MSU games. I think if there is enough advertisment and getting the word around about the game there may be a decent turnout (as far as students go) for that particular game.

The schedule will include: @ Oregon, @ Wisconsin, @ Memphis At Memphis is considered part of the Hall of Fame Tourney as what was listed. I doubt we will be playing them twice in one season.

I am very excited to hear how the schedule is coming along... I know as a member of the Grizz Gang, i'm going to try my hardest to increase student awareness and attendance for games this year. Last year was a great year... but this year will be even better!
