Kampe answered me about Bracket Buster.....He says "we want no part of it. We have been asked to participate and I have said no. It has been my call. I believe it is a bad deal for a team like Oakland. Why would I want to play a game the second to last Saturday of the season that I have no say in where we play or how far we have to travel. Don't forget we have to travel far to the league tournament, which is everything to us. ORU played in BB but they had the tournament in their hometown, NDSU played last year but they had the tournament a couple of hours from their home. The only good would be to play on TV. But what are the chance of that. Look at our schedule every year...we play on national TV at least twice every year anyways. We don't need it. We need to focus on one thing, finishing the damn league tournament off" I guess we know how he feels

Other than maybe 5-7 teams the majority of the field is crap and really have no business participating. Just my opinion.

Most of the MVC and CAA are worth playing.

Most of the MVC and CAA are worth playing. Agree to an extent. I guess my main point was that over the years I have had a hard time understanding the point of the whole "bracketbusters" theme. Usually just a half dozen teams with RPI's in the top 60s or 70s have a legitamite shot of making the tourney as an at large and they play these games to see who can knock who off that "bubble". The tourney started out as just a couple dozen teams and now it has ballooned up to nearly a hundred. I for one just don't see the point other than having a extra non-league game to play during the season at late in the season at that.
