ORU freshman Hunter McClintock suffered a torn ACL and will miss the season: www.tulsaworld.com/sportsextra/ORU/article.aspx?subjectid=95&articleid=20091101_298_0_OralRo627324By all accounts, he would have been a major part of fixing ORU's point guard situation this year (after Jarvis playing so poorly at the point last year). Fortunately, the Golden Eagles still have Pearson, who looks like a talented player and has D-1 experience. As much as I would like any kind of advantage over ORU in the conference season, this is not good news; we need all the Summit teams to perform well in ooc games. Let's hope this doesn't turn out to be that much of a setback. Best of luck to McClintock.

Man, that is rough. Hopefully the Golden Eagle team and staff can have someone in place for that position once the season starts in a few days. We certainly know how that feels to lose a key player with D-Nel last year and Kangas for a small portion of the season the year prior.

That's horrible. I hope he can come back at 100% next year. He sounds like he is going to be a stud.
