Syracuse lost to Division 2 Le Moyne last night 82-79. Hopefully the mens team doesn't get the idea that it will be an easy task when they walk in the Carrier Dome (Jim Boeheim court). Syracuse is a young team and if we play we confidence we have a chance against most teams. WE have to remember to play OUR ball and stick to the game plan. Can't we start the season already, I can't wait!

They lost some key players. They may be missing Johnny Flynn more than they realize. Do keep in mind that we play in Oregon just a few days before that game so hopefully traveling cross country (literally) won't have a huge effect on that game.

I agree they will definitely miss Flynn this year - and they also lost Devendorf (as well as his legal problems). But I remember how physically imposing Onuaku looked compared to our post guys last year. Benson and Hudson may have gained some muscle since then, but Onuaku should be a beast for Syracuse this year.
I also agree about the bad timing of the cross-country trip. Hopefully our guys still have some gas in the tank after beating Oregon for the third year in a row.
