Defense does look good and we are finally forcing our will for the first time this year.

Neil Ruhl is calling an excellent game on WXOU ... the play-by-play is crystal clear ... Go Grizzlies.

Great second half. That is what i expected against Eastern and Wisconsin. They are gaining confidence and chemistry. I'd like to see that effort against Kansas on Wednesday.

Excellent performance in the second half. I switched over to WXOU in time to hear Kampe's postgame remarks.

Just got out of night class, but I was pleasantly surprised to see Oakland put up some points and played good defense! Also glad to see WXOU is at the game - do they have a budget for travel? Or do they travel with the team? Either way, that is really cool.

Looks like our boys did one hell of a job in the 2nd half!! Very good. I knew it would take this team a couple games to get it all going. Seems like they are finding that right chemistry.
What did Kampe have to say in his post game?!

Kampe said Tenn Tech was a decent team (would finish between 3rd and 6th in the Summit) and he was pleased with the win. He said he knows we have some athletes who can play, and we won't be intimidated going up against Kansas.
I was especially glad to hear Kampe say that the staff hadn't really focused on Kansas yet. They're going to start that process tonight in the hotel. We had to get the win against Tenn Tech and couldn't afford to look past them. So far so good.

In the WXOU interview, coach Kampe said Will Hudson was his "player of the game" for Will's strong defense and rebounding in the second half ... coach also praised Derick Nelson ... he said Tennessee Tech would be a third or fourth-place team in the Summit Conference and that it was a good sign for OU to go into Tennessee Tech's gym and play so well in the second half ... he said he felt good about the Wednesday game at Kansas ... that he has good athletes and experienced seniors who have played against top-ranked teams on the road before ... and we'll see what happens.
