It's time to pick up our first DI win of the season. It will be difficult seeing that it is the Eagles first home game of the season but I don't care. The guys need to do to them what Eastern did to us which is play hard for 40 minutes. Be aggressive but play smart as well. Still too much talent on this team to drop a winnable game like this and they can use this win to build some confidence heading into KU on Wednesday evening.

I really don't know what to expect in this game. I believe we are a much better team, but they also have the first home game going for them. I will have to scout them tomorrow to see how well we match up, but we could really use the Win

Looking at who they played and how they fared, I think this is a very winnable game for us. They got beat by 37 to Minnesota and 32 to Memphis. Beat Central Arkansas, who we play Saturday, by a score of 71-67. Other win against Lipscomb. Leading scorer is 6'6" forward named Kevin Murphy averaging 18 points a game. He also leads with the team with 5 boards a game. I feel at that height we have a handful of guys that can guard him. They have to players that are 6'8 (one freshman and one sophomore), so our height advantage should come into play. A lot of underclassmen on this team. Frank Davis, 6'2" guard averages 10 and Elijah Muhammad 6'0" averages 9. Right now they are averaging 19 turnovers a game, so we should be able to put pressure and force some turnovers early to set the tempo. As a team they are shooting 37.5% from beyond the arc and 65% from the charity stripe. Assist to turnover ratio is 1 assist to 1.5 turnovers.

Anybody know how to watch this game online? I went the Tenn. Tech web site and it takes you to the OVC web streaming site and they want you to buy at least a month subscription to watch the game. Not paying 29.95 to watch this. Anybody else having the same problem or know somewhere else I can watch it?

30 bucks is NUTS! I liked the Big Ten Netowrk where i could buy 1 game for 3 dollars.

Yes $30 is outrageous for one game, and on top of it you are never guaranteed that the quality of the stream is going to visible with the human eye. I have seen some pretty bad live streams in my day.

I'm listening to the free online radio stream through Tenn Tech's athletics website. Not as good as video, but it will have to do.
OU up 10-9 with 11:49 left in the first half.
