Transferring from USF to be closer to home apparently. Is OU a possibility?

My guess would be between Oakland and U of D. U of D probably being the favorite since Dumars went to Country Day and McCallum senior is the coach there. On the other hand, Oakland has close ties with the Pistons and Joe D., so we will see. I would love to add him to our program, along with his father in attendance at games.

This would be a great addition to our team.... plus like Nate said - having Joe D in attendance at games would make for a nice little boost to the program

This was in the paper a few days ago but it hasn't been posted and I have been out of town. www.freep.com/article/20091228/SPORTS06/91228025/1051/SPORTS03/Jordan-Dumars-leaning-toward-transferring-to-U-MJordan Dumars leaning to U of M over MSU and U of D. First off, MSU wouldn't take a talent-less player like him. How is Michigan considering him?. And he would be a good fit for U of D. He isn't terrible but guys will blow past him on defense. He is a great shooter and would fit into U of D's system and ours. I personally don't think Kampe wants somebody who will be a defensive liability. Coach Ray probably wouldn't but might take him if Ray Jr. is going there. He is Horizon or Summit material, not Big 10.

Of course UofM's style of ball is perimeter oriented (consisting of jacking up three's with very little post play) so maybe that is what he is looking at. Regardless, he has no business transferring to a Big 10 school especially if he is looking at getting significant playing time.

Just what Michigan needs, another Guard. If his last name wasn't Dumars, he wouldn't be at Michigan.
Michigan should really start recruiting Forwards and Centers, that DON'T shoot the 3 ball.
