Check out this post: nbaoffseason.com/post/561429203/george-the-future-hill-game-1-l-0-2-0-ptsGeorge Hill has been super fun to watch these last few days. If Dejaun Blair's knees hold up, that could be a fun team to watch in the next few years despite retirements that are bound to occur. It'd be awesome to see Kito get picked up by them next year, with a core of Hill, Blair, and Benson. Plus it's just such a good franchise to be a part of, even if their style of ball annoys people (and they beat the Pistons in 05).

My only beef w/ that article & alot of commentators is that George Hill can't guard Nash. A couple things Nash is a 2 time league MVP a very very good player. Mike Valenti from 97.1 The Ticket labeled his as "borderline great."
Second, Phx runs the pick & roll over & over & over. Nobody can stop that. It's one of the oldest & most fundamental/basic play out there & its still popular bc it works. Nobody can stop it.
Also there aren't many guys that can stay in front of & keep Nash out of the lane period.

Mikey V can't stand the guy and has made no secret in doing so that statement was probably dripping with sarcasm. Still IMO a great player nonetheless.

Foster and co. were giving him a hard time, and he admitted that he was "borderline great" player, but you are right about sarcasm, cause Terry was like "look at your face when you say that, Mike" or something along those lines. I can't understand how he thinks he is only borderline great. He said Nash doesn't belong in the same category as other 2-time MVPs and that he won it because he was white. I say he is crazy, Nash is the man, and he is proving right now that the way Kerr built his team - around the notion of Nash as its leader - is a serious championship contender. Now let's just hope the Lakers don't go and ruin that.

PHX does not match up with LA's frontcourt at all and while they can get into a track meet easily with Kobe and co I am not convinced that they can get the crucial stops in crunch time like LA can. I hope that series can go the distance. Boston and Orlando will be a great one. The Magic WILL have to sweat it out and EARN this one because they are not getting a sweep like they have been doing the first two rounds. Would not surprise me to see the Celts win it.
