Wouldn't surprise me. No team wants to stay in the Summit very long.

This move would make a lot of sense for NDSU, especially considering they have football. Boise State is leaving, and the WAC is greener pastures for a school like NDSU. Would hate to see them leave, but couldn't blame them.

It sounds good, but I don't think it'll happen. Schools that have been DI longer and have more of a footprint regionally & nationally will probably get the call. If NDSU is on the list, it's probably at the bottom. In my view, its very unlikely.

We aren't getting a new football stadium, at least not any time soon. We are about to undergo a major renovation of our basketball arena, it will be completely unrecognizable from what we have now.
As for the WAC, it could happen but a lot of things would need to happen first.

If anything this could be SUU's chance to move into the Big Sky since it seems likely the WAC might add one school from that conference.
Our AD said the Summit has no plans to expand at this time but they will talk about it at their next meeting.
