Linked below: rushthecourt.net/2010/10/09/rtc-conference-primers-26-summit-league/He brings up some quality points about Oakland. But hardly no mention of any other squads aside from ORU, OU, and IUPUI. Definitely overlooking the Dakotas and maybe even IPFW to compete for third place. I give ORU an edge just because their starting five as a whole is more proven that Oakland's as a cohesive unit. Probably a bit skewed in the RPI booster section. Not sure how ORU vs. Oklahoma is a bigger RPI booster than OU vs. Purdue (or even IPFW's game against Purdue). Maybe because ORU could actually upset Oklahoma, perhaps. Skew also shows up in the top newcomer category. The freshman from ORU may be a nice addition, but he won't break that starting line-up, which will in turn limit his production. There are a few guys who could have a big impact this year, mostly in the Dakotas. My money is on Jordan Dykstra: should start or at least contend to start, and fills a need for SDSU.
