James Booyer former IUPUI player got drafted in the 7th round. David Nurse from Western Illinois got drafted in the 8th round. Carlos Medlock from EMU got drafted a few slots ahead of Boyer. Alan Anderson from MSU got drafted 2nd overall. A few other players from instate got drafted, but interesting to see Medlock get drafted in there and a former Summit player. Just a side note: 1st overall pick was Reno Bighorns from Reno-Nevada....no comment www.nba.com/dleague/draft_2010.html

I dont understand the d-league at all. Samb was with the pistons 2 years ago wasnt he??? Now he is drafted?
Apparently it is nothing like the minor leagues in baseball, which I think would be cool.

At least one name on that list brings back less than pleasant memories: Chris Roberts from Bradley, who hit that 75-foot shot (that should never have counted) against us in the CIT in 2009. He went as the first pick of the 4th round to the Idaho Stampede.

I had mentioned that to blackandgold in a conversation the other night. I held back from adding it to the list, because I didn't want to let Golden Grizzly Nation relive the horrific night. Thanks a lot Germane haha, at least I'm not that bad guy :-)
