Pretty full slate of season openers on tap for Summit League teams tonight.
* Oakland @ West Virginia
* NDSU @ Oregon
* ORU @ Missouri State
* Centenary @ #19 Memphis
* SDSU @ Eastern Illinois
* UMKC vs. Truman State
* W. Illinois vs. St. Francis
* IPFW @ SIU-E
Let's hope for a good showing from all our Summit League mates.

Really happy for some of our Summit League brethren tonight. SDSU and IPFW picked up must-wins for themselves and the conference, in my opinion, beating two OVC squads. UMKC/WIU avoided any upsets, and Ceola Clark had a nice outing with 10 assists. Poor Centenary.
ORU looks to really miss the big man presence in the middle, though their frosh stepped up a bit. That isn't a bad loss. Mizzou State is predicted to be a top-tier contender in the MVC.
NORTH DAKOTA STATE. Took Oregon into overtime in Eugune. Came up short by 5 points 97-92. Looking like a team with a lot of fight.

Ya tough one for NDSU. They have a tough turnaround vs. a UCSB team which went to the tournament last year, and a team which is supposed to be at the top of the Big West. Hopefully the Bison can pull it out tonight at home!

I listened on the radio to the end of regulation and OT. Tough loss, but great effort from the Bison. If they could've held on for the win, Oregon would probably never schedule a Summit team again.

Nice job by the Bison, bouncing back after the tough loss to Oregon. Keep it up against Denver.
