I feel like we should have a thread highlighting anything from any mid major program around the country.
I would like to start it off with this ridiculous clip of Jimmer Fredette:
How do you not love this guy (unless your playing against him)? It is impossible to guard him when he is playing with the confidence that he has. Not to mention he had 47 last week against Utah. He was a machine last year in the NCAA tourney as well.

Sorry, I forgot to add that I consider BYU to be a mid-major program. I don't consider them one of the big boys. I should have clearly defined that before I posted, because technically they aren't.

Sorry, I forgot to add that I consider BYU to be a mid-major program. I don't consider them one of the big boys. I should have clearly defined that before I posted, because technically they aren't. They will be next year or whenever they join the West Coast Conference! Naw, mid-major is so hard to define. I generally just use the TMM definitions, which would exclude BYU, but what's it matter? Jimmer is a beast. I just wish they were in the WCC because at least that conference has a few ESPN games every season. The MWC is never on national tv (except for cbs college sports which is not on cable), which is frustrating especially with a big game like BYU vs. San Diego State coming up next week.

Valparaiso just beat Butler for the first time since 1993! I watched here in Indy on local tv, and their gym was jam packed and very loud. The win came in OT after several late-game heroics (and one three point shot that was just incredible, reminded me of the ones they hit against Oakland).
Valpo is in the top 50 of RPI and tied for first in Horizon League now with this win. If we could have beat them, it would have been a VERY good win and given us two top 50 RPI wins.
