First and foremost hopefully the guys make it down to WIU safely be it by bus or plane. Have to keep the "pedal to the metal" so they can lock up the #1 seed and the SL title. I do expect a very competitive game with the Necks but since we have won the last 8 or 9 games there I expect that to continue (at least for this season anyway).

The Necks are indeed depleted but we'll still have to stay focused to win, especially with the travel/weather drama. In past years I might be more concerned, but the guys have showed great mental discipline this year. The team got into Macomb with enough time for Kampe to film a Coach's Corner segment last night, focused (of course) on the Sunrise Cafe. Kampe apparently called in advance and the place agreed to stay open late to wait for the team to get there. www.ougrizzlies.com/allaccess/ |

Pretty good effort from WIU, especially up through the half. But the Grizzlies just have too many weapons. 12-0 with six to go looks pretty good right now. On to Conseco.

My wife earned her undergrad degree at WIU before coming to Oakland University.
With no malice, I must note tonight's official attendance at Waste Management court: 497.
What else could was there to do tonight on the frozen tundra of Macomb, Illinois? Snowmobile racing? Sledding? Eating chicken at the Sunshine Cafe?

The Jags stopped our streak in Indy last year before we started another one so let's not let it happen again. Should be a good one in Conseco. |
