I think Doug Anderson is more than good enough to warrant his own thread. Here is a nice write-up from OU alum Patrick Hayes that was already posted in another thread a few days ago: www.slamonline.com/online/college-hs/college/2011/03/doug-e-fresh/Unless it would cause some kind of chemistry problem, I would love to see Anderson as a Grizzly. Unbelievable athleticism. (Edited to fix the faulty link.)

I mostly wonder if we have a scholarship for him or not along with hopefully PLP.

This guy needs to come to Oakland. He could flourish right way.
Anyone have an idea when he plans to make a selection?

He would have a better chance staying at Mott CC and winning the NJCAA National Championship then winning the Horizon League if Brad Stevens has anything to say about it. Apparently, the NCAA tournament isn't on Doug's radar.

Apparently, the NCAA tournament isn't on Doug's radar. You got that right Nate. And he is only going to have about 2 seasons to do it. Not looking to good but best of luck to him nonetheless. Disappointing day so far . Hopefully the coaching staff can pull off a coup of a signing.

Was never very much on the Doug Anderson bandwagon, but definitely not happy to see him go to U of D.
Just another excuse for them to over-value their program.
I'll take The Butler Way over Calihan's psuedo-tradition any day.
