Longtime Valpo Coach Homer Drew retires and his son (assoc head coach and star Valpo guard) Bryce Drew will assume the head coaching duties. ESPN just reported today.

Wow! This is the 2nd time he's retired but maybe this one will be permanent. After the 1st retirement his other son Scott Drew (now Baylor's head coach) took over for him. They we're still in the Midcon at the time. I wish both of them well except when they play us.

Indeed. Both are in my prayers and I wish them both a safe and speedy recovery. I heard that they caught Coach Drew's early. Hopefully the same is said for Mrs. Drew.
