As I was doing some searching on Ledrick Eackles' status (updated in the "Ledrick Leaving" thread), I wondered about other former OU players who had transferred. After two years out of Division I, it looks like Matt Samuels has finally found a landing spot, albeit on the very fringes of D-I: Chicago State. Not sure what he'll be classified as, but the CSU site confirms it: www.gocsucougars.com/news/2011/5/17/MBB_0517110606.aspx

nice find B&G... glad to see that he landed on his feet and hopefully he will do good things for what sounds like a struggling Chicago State team

A handful of Summit/Mid-Con tournaments ago a large contingent of pep-band members were playing a game of Left-Center-Right in the hotel lobby. The hotel staff kicked the offenders out of the lobby late at night/early in the morning. A bit later there was a knock on the door and a few players from the Chicago State men's team walked in. "We heard there was a dice game going on."
They were apparently expecting a different dice game than L-C-R.
And that will always be my immediate thought whenever Chicago State's name comes up.

Thanks for the clarification. That's quite funny!!
